Road Closure – Gensley Rd

By November 30, 2016Road Advisories

On Thursday, December 1, 2016, the Washtenaw County Road Commission will CLOSE the Gensley Road Culvert over the Frey-Fitzsimmons Drain, due to extensive structural deterioration.  The culvert is located between Ellsworth Road and Pleasant Lake Road in Section 17 of Lodi Township.  The recommended closure of this structure was determined during a recent culvert inspection.
The posted DETOUR for this culvert closure will include Ellsworth Road, Zeeb Road and Pleasant Lake Road.  The road will be closed by using concrete barrier and barricades.  A schedule to replace the culvert and reopen Gensley Road at this location is undetermined at this time.
The Washtenaw County Road Commission thanks you in advance for your patience as the agency determines the best course of action to address this culvert closure.
