What: Temporary Road CLOSURE

Why: Installation of Sanitary Sewer and Pump Station
Background
On Wednesday morning, May 26, 2010, Ypsilanti Community Utilities Authority (YCUA) will impose a temporary CLOSURE on Harris Road at the intersection of Duncan Road for the installation of a pump station and sanitary sewer. The road will be closed to through traffic.
The posted DETOUR for this temporary Harris Road closure is Russell Road, Ford Boulevard to M-17 (Ecorse). Access for local Harris Road traffic will be maintained during the closure. However, there will be no through traffic allowed through the intersection.
This temporary road closure will remain in effect from the morning of May 26, 2010 for approximately two weeks. However, please be advised that due to weather conditions, all dates are tentative and subject to change.
