The Washtenaw County Road Commission announced today the Feldkamp
Road Bridge has been temporarily repaired and the road was officially
reopened to the traveling public on Monday, December 8, 2008.
Frigid temperatures and memories of last year’s record-breaking snowfall already have area motorists dreading the coming winter season. With flurries in the forecast and the prospect of holiday travel, Washtenaw County motorists may wonder what they can expect during the coming months.
When: Beginning Wednesday, October 1, 2008
Where: Holmes Road, Ford Blvd. to Midway Street
Construction of the new concrete curb and gutter along the north and south sides of Holmes Road, between Ford Boulevard and Midway Street, is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, October 1st. Weather permitting, the placement of the curb and gutter is expected to be completed by Thursday, October 2nd.
