WHERE: Willis Rd bridge over US-23, between Platt Rd and Carpenter Rd in York Township
WHY: Bridge rehabilitation
BACKGROUND: Starting Friday, March 17, 2023, the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will close the Willis Rd Bridge over US-23, to rehabilitate the structure. The bridge is located between Platt Rd and Carpenter Rd in York Township. Due to weather conditions, the original start date of this project, Friday, March 10, has been rescheduled to Friday, March 17.
The road work is expected to take approximately four months. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
