February 11: Another Wintery Week

Good afternoon,

Well, another wintery week is almost in the books, and it was a busy one! I know the weather conditions made for some long days chasing bonded snow in our subdivisions and unpaved roads, but things are looking good now. Thank you for all your efforts!

It was also a busy week for many of our engineering staff who virtually attended the County Engineers’ Workshop. This annual event is a great way to share ideas with our peers across the state. A big thank you to Matt MacDonell and Nate Murphy, who presented on important lessons learned on the Ann Arbor-Saline Rd Resurfacing Project and the Miller Rd Bridge Project. Like many others, I look forward to attending the conference in-person next year.

We have some more cold air coming our way but, thankfully, it looks relatively dry. I hope you are able to relax and recharge this weekend, especially if you are planning to watch the big game this weekend!

Take care and stay safe,

Sheryl
