WHY: Drainage work
BACKGROUND: On Monday, September 11, 2023, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will perform drainage work at the intersection of Bemis Rd at Whittaker Rd in Augusta & Ypsilanti Townships.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to shoulder closures and intermittent lane closures. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
The roadwork is expected to take approximately three days. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
