May 25: Labor Day Construction

Good morning,

After another busy week of construction, I know we are all looking forward to the long weekend approaching us.

As we head off with our holiday plans and celebrate the unofficial start of summer, I encourage you to take a moment to remember the meaning for this holiday. Memorial Day is meant to honor and mourn the lives that have been lost fighting for our country in the armed forces. Whether you know military personnel or served yourself, their service and sacrifice benefit us all, and for that I am grateful.

Speaking of holiday plans, I want to remind you all of the MDOT construction that is taking place in our county and throughout the state. Click here to check out their interactive construction map so you can anticipate traffic impacts during your weekend travels.

I hope you all have a safe and happy holiday weekend!
