The week of Monday, September 9, 2024, a contractor for the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) is scheduled to begin road work on Waterloo Rd between Clark Lake Rd and Lingane Rd in Lyndon Township.
On Wednesday, September 11, 2024, the contactor will close Waterloo Rd to begin pulverizing the exiting road surface. Once the existing road surface is crushed and shaped, the contractor will place the leveling course (first layer) of asphalt and the wearing course (top layer) of asphalt throughout the project limits, weather permitting. Once paving is finished, the next step is placing aggregate (stone) shoulders and pavement markings. The project is expected to take approximately one week to complete.
The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will continue to send out updates as the project progresses. Have questions? Contact Mike Bernbeck, Project Manager – Design & Construction, (734) 327-6654, or via email at [email protected].
