Traffic Signal Installation – Geddes Rd & Harris Rd (Superior Twp)

By June 21, 2024Road Advisories

WHEN: Monday, June 24, 2024

WHERE: Intersection of Geddes Rd and Harris Rd in Superior Township

WHY: Traffic signal installation

BACKGROUND: On Monday, June 24, 2024, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will install a new traffic signal at the intersection of Geddes Rd and Harris Rd in Superior Township.

The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.

The signal work is expected to take an estimated two weeks to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.

Motorists will notice the signal flashing red on Harris Rd and yellow on Geddes for a week, this is to alert drivers of the new device. The signal will become functional the following week.

CONTACT: If you have any questions concerning this work, please contact Becky Houle, Project manager, (734) 327-6678, or via email at [email protected].
